Matchetts Music are proud to be one of the sponsors of the annual, Northern Ireland Young Musician of the year Competition. Every year since 1993 the Rotary Club of Comber has organised the event to encourage aspiring young musicians to improve their performance skills in public.

This prestigious competition provides young performers, both instrumental and vocal, with an opportunity to display their musical talents in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere. For many of the contestants, it has provided a valuable stepping-stone to a career in music.
