Matchetts Music Summer Fender Giveaway - Official Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this prize draw is Matchetts Music, 38 Wellington Place, Belfast, BT1 6GF, Northern Ireland ("the Promoter").
2. Promotion Period
The promotion opens at 9:00am (BST) on Tuesday 1 July 2026 and closes at 5:30pm (BST) on Monday 31 August 2026.
Entries received outside of this period will not be eligible.
3. Eligibility

The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

Employees of Matchetts Music, their immediate family members, agents, suppliers, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of this promotion are not eligible to enter.
- Open to residents of the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland) and the Republic of Ireland.

Only one entry per person is permitted throughout the promotional period.
4. How to Enter
To enter the giveaway, participants must either:

Scan the official QR code displayed in-store and complete the online entry form; or
-
Complete an official Matchetts Music entry card in-store with their full name and valid email address.
Only fully completed entries will be accepted.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, generated by automated means, duplicated, or otherwise deemed invalid by the Promoter will be disqualified.
5. The Prize
One winner will receive:

Fender Player II Stratocaster® Electric Guitar

Finish: 3-Colour Sunburst
The prize:
-
is non-transferable;
-
cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative products;
-
cannot be substituted by the winner.
6. Winner Selection
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the promotional period.
The draw will take place within 7 days of the competition closing date.
The random draw will be conducted fairly using an independently verifiable random selection method.
7. Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted using the email address supplied upon entry.
If the winner:
-
cannot be contacted;
-
fails to respond within 14 days of notification;
-
declines the prize; or
-
is found to be ineligible,
the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries.
8. Prize Collection
The prize must be collected from Matchetts Music unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter.
The winner may be required to provide suitable photographic identification before the prize is released.
Risk in the prize passes to the winner upon collection or confirmed delivery.
9. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Promoter may use their first name, surname initial, and photographs taken during prize presentation for promotional and marketing purposes across social media, websites, email marketing, and other promotional materials without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. Data Protection
Personal information supplied as part of this competition will be processed by Matchetts Music solely for the purposes of:

administering the prize draw;

contacting the winner; and
-
where consent has been given, sending marketing communications.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Participants may withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting their entry into the prize draw.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to this, the Promoter shall not be liable for:

lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, or misdirected entries;

technical failures affecting entry;
-
events beyond its reasonable control that prevent the promotion from proceeding as planned;

any loss or damage arising from acceptance or use of the prize, except where caused by the negligence of the Promoter.
12. Right to Amend or Cancel
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or where required by law.
Any significant changes will be communicated through appropriate promotional channels.
13. Verification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify any participant who:

breaches these Terms & Conditions;

provides false or misleading information;

attempts to manipulate the entry process; or
-
engages in conduct considered unfair or detrimental to the promotion.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
15. Acceptance
By entering this giveaway, participants are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
