The Cort Essence GA4 is a versatile electro-acoustic guitar designed to combine a mature, resonant acoustic sound with comfortable playability and stage-ready electronics. Its Grand Auditorium body offers a balanced response suited to both strumming and fingerstyle playing, making it an excellent choice for songwriting, accompanying vocals and everyday performance.
A solid torrefied Sitka spruce top, treated using Cort's Aged To Vintage (ATV) process, delivers a warm, open tonal character with clear articulation and responsive dynamics. Mahogany back and sides complement the spruce with a rich midrange and balanced resonance, while advanced scalloped X-bracing helps the body produce a full, expressive sound.
The mahogany neck features a comfortable C-shaped profile, paired with a rosewood fingerboard for a smooth playing feel. A 45mm nut width provides room for fingerstyle techniques and comfortable chord work, while the cutaway body allows easier access to the higher frets.
For amplified performance, the GA4 is equipped with a Fishman Presys VT preamp system and undersaddle pickup. The onboard controls make it easy to adjust your amplified sound, while the built-in tuner provides convenient tuning without additional equipment. Finished in Natural Semi-Gloss, the GA4 showcases its tonewoods alongside classic herringbone detailing and vintage-inspired hardware.
