Taylor 314ce Studio Special Edition Natural Electro-Acoustic Guitar
Series: 300 Series
Body Shape: Grand Auditorium with Venetian Cutaway
Orientation: Right-Handed
Finish: Natural Gloss

Overview

The Taylor 314ce Studio Special Edition is a versatile electro-acoustic guitar that combines the rich tone of solid tonewoods with Taylor's renowned playability and modern design. Featuring a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top paired with solid sapele back and sides, it delivers a balanced acoustic voice with warm, punchy mids, clear trebles and excellent dynamic response. This combination makes it well suited to strumming, fingerstyle playing, songwriting and studio recording.

The torrefied Sitka spruce top offers a mature, played-in tonal character, responding naturally to changes in picking intensity. Solid sapele back and sides complement the spruce with warmth, focus and projection, while Taylor's V-Class bracing enhances sustain, volume and consistency in intonation across the fingerboard.

The Grand Auditorium body provides a comfortable balance between the projection of a larger acoustic and the responsiveness of a more compact design. A Neo-Tropical mahogany neck with Taylor's Standard Carve profile supports comfortable fretting, while the West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard offers a smooth, responsive playing surface. Chamfered body edges further enhance comfort during longer playing sessions.

Equipped with Taylor's Expression System 2 electronics, the 314ce Studio Special Edition delivers natural amplified tone for live performance and recording. Finished in natural gloss with a tortoiseshell pickguard, understated dot inlays and a three-ring rosette, it combines elegant styling with practical versatility. A structured gig bag is included for convenient transport and protection.
