Gretsch G5420T Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby
Series: Electromatic Collection
Body Shape: Hollow Body (Single Cutaway)
Orientation: Right-Handed
Finish: Multiple Options (Orange Stain, Black, Aspen Green, etc.)

Overview

The Gretsch G5420T Electromatic is a classic hollow body electric guitar designed to deliver authentic vintage Gretsch tone with modern reliability and playability. Known for its unmistakable look and sound, it’s a go-to choice for rockabilly, blues, jazz, indie, and classic rock players.

Built with a laminated maple hollow body, the G5420T produces a full, resonant tone with rich lows, clear highs, and plenty of natural air and depth. The addition of trestle block bracing helps reduce feedback while increasing sustain and attack, making it more versatile at higher volumes.

At the heart of the guitar are FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups, delivering that signature Gretsch sound—bright, chimey, and articulate with excellent note definition and punch.

The inclusion of a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece allows for smooth pitch modulation, adding expressive character to chords and lead lines while maintaining classic vintage styling.
