Takamine GD30CE-BLK Electro-Acoustic Guitar
Series: G30 Series
Body Shape: Dreadnought Cutaway
Orientation: Right-Handed
Finish: Black Gloss

Overview

The Takamine GD30CE-BLK is a versatile electro-acoustic guitar that combines the powerful projection of a dreadnought body with the convenience of built-in electronics. Featuring a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, it delivers a rich, resonant acoustic tone with clear articulation, warm mids and a full low end. This tonal balance makes it suitable for strumming, fingerpicking, songwriting and live performance.

The solid spruce top responds well to changes in playing dynamics, providing clarity and projection across a variety of musical styles. Mahogany back and sides complement the spruce with warmth and depth, creating a well-rounded sound for both solo playing and accompanying vocals.

Designed for comfort, the GD30CE features a slim mahogany neck and a 12" radius ovangkol fingerboard, offering a comfortable playing feel for chords and lead parts. Its soft Venetian-style cutaway provides easier access to the higher frets, while the pin-less bridge with split-saddle design helps deliver accurate intonation and makes string changes straightforward.

The onboard Takamine TP-4TD preamp system includes a built-in tuner, three-band EQ and gain control, allowing you to shape your amplified tone for rehearsals, gigs and recording. Finished in sleek black gloss with chrome hardware and pearloid detailing, the GD30CE-BLK offers classic dreadnought character with practical stage-ready features.
