Taylor 14ce Grand Auditorium Electro-Acoustic Guitar
Series: Taylor 14ce
Body Shape: Grand Auditorium with Venetian Cutaway
Orientation: Right-Handed
Finish: Natural Matte
Overview
The Taylor 14ce is a versatile electro-acoustic guitar designed to deliver the signature Taylor playing feel, balanced acoustic tone and dependable amplified performance at an accessible price. Its comfortable Grand Auditorium body provides a versatile sound suited to strumming, fingerpicking, songwriting and accompanying vocals.
A solid torrefied spruce top delivers clear articulation, strong projection and a touch of warmth. The roasting process gives the soundboard a more mature tonal character, while the layered African sapele back and sides contribute balanced resonance and a focused midrange. Taylor's internal bracing design helps enhance sustain, volume and low-end response.
The hard rock maple neck features Taylor's comfortable Standard Carve profile, offering smooth playability across the West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard. A Venetian cutaway provides easier access to the higher frets, making the 14ce a practical choice for players who move between rhythm work and lead passages.
Equipped with Fishman Sonitone GT-2 electronics, the Taylor 14ce includes convenient soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls for shaping your amplified sound. Its understated natural matte finish, faux-tortoiseshell pickguard and minimalist detailing complete a clean, contemporary design. A Taylor gig bag is included for convenient storage and transport.
