Overview

The Cort G250 SE is a versatile electric guitar that combines classic double-cutaway styling with modern appointments and a flexible pickup configuration. Designed to suit everyone from developing players to experienced musicians, it offers a comfortable playing experience, reliable construction and a wide tonal range for a variety of musical styles.

At the heart of the G250 SE is an HSS pickup configuration, featuring two Cort Voiced Tone VTS-63 single-coil pickups and a VTH-59 bridge humbucker. This combination delivers everything from bright, articulate clean tones to warm blues sounds and powerful rock tones. A push-pull tone control adds coil-splitting functionality, expanding the guitar's tonal possibilities even further.

Finished in Olive Dark Green with a contrasting black pickguard, roasted maple neck and fingerboard, the G250 SE blends understated modern styling with vintage-inspired character.

Key Features

Playability and Comfort

The G250 SE features a roasted maple neck with a smooth satin finish, providing a comfortable playing feel with minimal friction during position changes. Its 9.45-inch fingerboard radius and 22 frets offer a familiar playing surface for chords, bends and lead work. The contoured neck-body joint also improves access to the higher frets, making upper-register playing more comfortable.

Tonewoods and Construction

The basswood body provides a balanced tonal foundation with a warm character and a clear, punchy midrange. Paired with a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, the construction offers a distinctive appearance and a responsive playing feel. The bolt-on neck design maintains the traditional construction associated with classic double-cutaway electric guitars.

Electronics

The G250 SE's HSS pickup configuration provides a broad range of tones suited to rock, blues, pop, funk and more.

• Neck Pickup: Cort Voiced Tone VTS-63 single-coil for warm, clear and expressive tones.

• Middle Pickup: Cort Voiced Tone VTS-63 single-coil for articulate rhythm sounds and bright clean tones.

• Bridge Pickup: Cort Voiced Tone VTH-59 humbucker for fuller, punchier sounds with modern clarity.

• Push-Pull Tone Control: Splits the bridge humbucker's coils to access brighter, more single-coil-like tones.

• Five-Way Pickup Selector: Offers a variety of pickup combinations for different playing styles.

• Master Volume and Tone Controls: Allow straightforward adjustment of output level and tonal character.

Hardware and Setup

A two-point tremolo bridge with steel bent saddles provides smooth vibrato control while maintaining a traditional appearance. Die-cast tuning machines offer reliable tuning adjustment, while chrome hardware complements the guitar's finish. The G250 SE comes fitted with D'Addario EXL120 strings.

Design Details

The Olive Dark Green finish gives the G250 SE a distinctive, understated appearance, complemented by a three-ply black pickguard and chrome hardware. The roasted maple neck and fingerboard add warm visual tones, while the satin neck finish provides a more understated feel than a high-gloss neck.
