Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar
Series: GS Mini Series
Body Shape: Compact Grand Symphony
Orientation: Right-Handed
Finish: Natural Matte
Overview
The Taylor GS Mini is a compact acoustic guitar that delivers an impressively full sound in a travel-friendly design. Inspired by Taylor's larger Grand Symphony body shape, it combines reduced dimensions with a rich, balanced acoustic voice, making it an excellent choice for travelling musicians, songwriters, beginners and experienced players looking for a comfortable everyday guitar.
The solid torrefied spruce top provides clear articulation, balanced projection and a touch of warmth, while the layered sapele back and sides contribute a focused midrange and natural resonance. Taylor's specialised torrefaction process gives the spruce a more played-in tonal character, helping the guitar produce a lively, responsive sound despite its compact size.
A shorter 23.5" scale length makes the GS Mini comfortable to hold and play, with a relaxed string feel that suits chord playing, fingerpicking and songwriting. The mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard provide a smooth playing experience, while Taylor's proprietary neck construction supports reliable intonation and adjustability.
Finished in Natural Matte, the GS Mini features understated detailing, a three-ring soundhole rosette and a protective pickguard. Its compact size makes it easy to take on trips, to rehearsals or to informal jam sessions, while its full-bodied tone remains suitable for home recording and performance. A structured gig bag is included for convenient storage and transport.
