The Standard Telecaster® features a lightweight poplar body with a gloss polyurethane finish that delivers a balanced tonal foundation, resonant lows, clear mids and crisp highs , wrapped in the iconic Telecaster® single-cut shape beloved across genres.

The Fender Standard Tele blends classic Fender styling with quality appointments you’d expect from the Standard Series:

• Finish & Aesthetics: Gloss finish available in traditional colours like Butterscotch Blonde and 3-Colour Sunburst.

• Pickguard: 3-ply pickguard (black or white depending on model) protects the body and reinforces the classic look.

• Hardware: Chrome hardware throughout provides durability, timeless style and long-lasting performance.

• Control Knobs: Knurled flat-top knobs give vintage-inspired tactile control.

Neck, Feel & Hardware

• Neck: Maple neck with a Modern “C” profile, smooth and comfortable, ideal for a wide range of playing styles. 

• Fingerboard: Maple (or Indian laurel on some variants) with a 9.5″ (241 mm) radius , balanced for both rhythm and lead playing. 

• Scale Length: 25.5″ (648 mm), classic Fender scale giving familiar tension and feel. 

• Frets: 21 medium-jumbo frets for expressive playing.

• Nut: Micarta nut with ~1.6875″ (42.86 mm) width, versatile spacing for chords and solos. 

• Truss Rod: Dual-action head-adjust truss rod for reliable neck setup and relief.

• Tuning Machines: Fender® standard cast/sealed tuners with hex buttons for stable, dependable tuning.
