Taylor Next Generation 414ce Grand Auditorium Electro-Acoustic Guitar
Series: 400 Series
Body Shape: Grand Auditorium with Venetian Cutaway
Orientation: Right-Handed
Finish: Natural Gloss

Overview

The Taylor Next Generation 414ce is a premium electro-acoustic guitar designed for exceptional tonal balance, comfortable playability and professional performance. Combining solid Indian rosewood back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, it delivers a rich, dynamic sound with warm bass, sparkling trebles and a slightly scooped midrange. This versatile tonewood combination makes it an excellent choice for fingerstyle playing, strumming, recording and live performance.

The solid Sitka spruce top provides clear articulation, strong projection and excellent dynamic response, while Indian rosewood adds depth, sustain and complex overtones. Taylor's new Scalloped V-Class bracing enhances low-end response, volume and sustain, while maintaining consistent intonation and harmonic agreement across the fingerboard.

A major feature of this next-generation model is Taylor's Action Control Neck system. Its long-tenon neck joint adds warmth and tonal depth while allowing precise string-height adjustments without traditional neck-reset work. The Neo-Tropical mahogany neck features Taylor's comfortable Standard Carve profile, paired with a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard for a smooth and responsive playing experience.

The 414ce also introduces Taylor's Claria Acoustic Pickup System, featuring soundhole-mounted controls and a dedicated Mid-Contour adjustment for shaping your amplified sound. Finished in natural gloss with black body binding, a firestripe pickguard and distinctive Weathervane inlays, it combines refined styling with modern performance features. A Taylor Deluxe hardshell case is included.
