Bass Guitar Lessons
I am offering high quality bass guitar lessons, tailored to your requirements. From basic techniques and knowledge to advanced theory, performance coaching, advice for playing gigs and what the role of playing bass in a band entails.
I'm an experienced musician, and understand that everyone's musical journey is different and that no-one's (including mine) is ever complete! And also that everyone has a different style of learning which suits them best. I will provide an encouraging and constructive atmosphere, with each lesson being tailored to the individual needs of the student.
Prices are £20 per hour for a lesson at my home studio, or £25 per hour at the student's home.
Guitar lessons in Belfast
Guitar teacher with experience teaching all ages, even if picking the strings for the first time!
Fun and engaging lessons, teaching the skills and techniques to get a hang of the instrument. Responding to your aims/needs for learning, whether to create music, learn songs, or simply explore and have fun! Can also work towards grades in RSL if you like.
Lessons on electric or acoustic, can provide a guitar during lesson if needed. Based on Woodstock Road, but happy to travel to you for lessons in the Belfast area, or can teach online if preferred.
£15 for 45 minutes / £20 for 1hr

Affordable guitar lessons tailored to your style
Want to learn guitar but not sure where to start? I’m an 18 year old guitarist with a GCSE and A-level in music and six years experience playing guitar and am offering fun relaxed lessons tailored to your liking, wether you want to learn classic rock, indie or the blues. These lessons will be primarily for beginner to intermediate players however more advanced players are also welcome.
The first lesson is free and after that will cost £10 per 30 minutes or £15 per hour.

Matt Jamison is a qualified and experienced guitar teacher based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Matt studied music and has been teaching since 2009 throughout Belfast. As a primarily self-taught musician, he understands how difficult it can be to get started and how most people have been put of music lessons since they were forced to play a recorder in primary school.
