As part of our trade-in policy, we've implemented a 1-5 grading system for assessing the condition of the guitar. Here's what each grade means:

      5 - Like New - Guitar is in pristine condition with no visible signs of wear and tear.
      4 - Excellent - Guitar shows only minor signs of use, such as light scratches or scuffs.
      3 - Very Good - Guitar has been used, but well cared for with only minor cosmetic defects.
      2 - Good - Guitar has some visible wear and tear, but is still playable.
      1 - Fair - Guitar has significant wear and tear, but is still functional.

To provide you with the most accurate information about our second hand guitars, we've created a simple rating system. Each guitar is carefully evaluated by our in-store experts who meticulously check for any issues and then grade it accordingly. 

Our rating system ranges from 1 to 5, with 5 being in "as new" condition and 1 showing heavy wear and tear. A guitar rated 4, for example, may have minor cosmetic blemishes such as small scratches or dents, whereas a guitar rated 2 may have noticeable scratches, dents, and chips.

Procedure 

• Bring your guitar into the store, instruments will need to be left 24-48 hours overnight for inspection.
• We will evaluate your instrument.
• If accepted we will offer you an evaluation price to trade in against another instrument or Bank Transfer
• Once an instrument is accepted we will clean, polish and take professional graded photographs of every instrument.

In order to complete a trade-in transaction, we require that customers provide photographic identification. This helps to ensure that the guitar being traded belongs to the customer and is not stolen property.
