Classic Tonewoods & Warm, Rich Performance
Body: Mahogany
The JL‑500 GD features a solid mahogany body that delivers warm, full‑bodied tone with rich midrange and sustain, a classic choice for rock, blues and heavier styles.
Neck: Mahogany (Set‑Neck)
A mahogany neck, usually set into the body, enhances sustain and resonance while providing a comfortable Modern C profile that’s smooth for both rhythm and lead playing.
Together, the mahogany body and neck give the JL‑500 GD a balanced yet powerful voice with depth and character across all registers, reminiscent of vintage single‑cut designs but at a more accessible price.
