Built in the TJ Lenham pro-sax workshop, the Signature Custom professional alto saxophones have been made with extra refinements expected on saxophones at this level. As an advanced and professional sax player you will have experience of playing saxophones made of different metals and finishes.

The Signature Custom saxophone aims to bridge the gap between what the player demands on their ‘horn’ and what the manufacturer supplies in return.

The award-winning Signature Custom saxophones have been developed following continuous cycles of research, improvement, testing and review with sax players around the world who wanted a genuine vintage sound. Unlike many other makers who simply apply a coloured finish to the instrument to give it the appearance of being old, we have simply preserved the saxophone in its raw manufactured condition and added the mechanism to allow the instrument to resonate freely.

RAW Finish

The extraordinary ‘RAW’ and ‘RAW XS’ models were born in 2012 after extensive testing, research, and discussions with saxophonists worldwide.
These instruments were designed for those seeking an authentic vintage sound and an instrument that exudes a beautifully aged aesthetic.
The Trevor James Signature Custom RAW saxophones are finished in their raw brass, unlacquered and dip-cleaned state. When we say it’s RAW, we mean it!

The 'Raw' XS undergoes meticulous hand buffing, giving the body and mechanisms a stunningly realistic old sax appearance, while the standard 'RAW' model showcases a distinct and captivating dark finish throughout.

UK Shipping

UK postage is free on most items, excluding pianos, digital pianos and double basses which we will quote on an individual basis.

We send smaller items via Royal Mail and larger items via a carrier. We will e-mail you when your order has been shipped. Orders usually take 2-3 working days.

ROI Shipping

Delivery to Ireland is free on items over £179, excluding pianos, digital pianos and double basses which we will quote on an individual basis. For delivery of items under £179, the cost is £10.

International Shipping

Returns Policy

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Your item must be in the original packaging, and have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note that gift vouchers are not eligible for refunds.

Refunds

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received it, inspected it and processed the returned item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
